Frosty Friends - Dimension

Hello peeps,
Justine has informed me her Christmas package has been safely delivered,
so I can now share with you a sweet little finish I made for her.
My little surprise box included various Christmas goodies and
also a handmade cross stitch finish.
Design chosen from
Frosty Friends

This is a super cute kit of 6 Christmas ornaments based
on Stacey Yacula's beautiful artwork
After great difficulty in making my mind up,
I opted to get stitching on Snowy Days!
Source: Stacey Yacula Etsy shop
Stitched on the provided 16ct light blue Aida fabric & threads
Worked 2 over 1
It took me AGES to finish it!!!
These are small designs but are so detailled
I made a small change and decided to stitch the background snowflakes using
sparkly Kreinik thread instead of the charted plain white

Finished off as a flat ornament using
beaded trim & a green bell from my stash

I will definitely have to stitch the other five designs,
they are hard work but look fantastic.

Justine was really happy with her gifts and her
little ornament has already found its place in her home!
I'm happy!!
Congratulations to the winner of the chart
He's a Flake chart
Please email me your snail mail so that I can get it posted before Christmas
& a big thank you to the few who took part in the draw!

He's a Flake - Little House Needleworks

Hello Peeps

I have been away far too long!
I honestly have been busy stitching away on various projects.
Secret ones, planned ones...

Here is a small one I can share with you.

He's a Flake
All Dolled Up! Series
From Little House Needleworks

Stitched on Sew It All 16ct Aida fabric, flint colour
(which is obviously grey & not brown like my pictures!)

Worked 2 over 1, using DMC threads and
replaced use of Mill Hill beads for sparkly Kreinik thread

I initially won the chart from CJ a long time ago
and promised I'd pass on the chart once I'd stitched it.

So, if you too would like to stitch this small snowman,
please leave a comment on this post only saying so.

If there are more than one stitcher interested, I will randomly pick a name.

Winner will be announced in my next post, so stay tuned!

I am happy to post the chart worldwide but cannot guarantee you will receive it
before Christmas as the Royal Mail is always busy at this time of the year.

Thanks to Blogger latest changes,
I can no longer go back on older posts on my reading list (am I the only one?),
so I'd like to apologise if I have missed one of your latest post & didn't comment.
