Halloween Ornament Exchange

I can't believe nearly 2 weeks have passed since my last post!
What has happened??
A few of you will know about the
Halloween Ornament Exchange organised by Kim
Of course, I couldn't resist the temptation and joined the fun!

Now, both my swap partners have already blogged about this exchange,
so now it is my turn to share with you all this Halloween goodness :)
o O o
I had to send my Halloween ornament to Cheryll in Australia
I chose a design I had already stitched last year. See this post.
I know it is a bit cheeky but I simply adore this little design!
Once is not always!

Chart titled Boo and designed by Valerie Danish of Val's Stitchin' Stuff.
Worked on 14ct pewter aida fabric, using DMC threads.

For the Halloween occasion, I swapped the white for DMC light effect E940...
so that my little ghost will GloW in the dark... ooh spooky!!

I have finished my model as an ornament, as requested in the rules,
using multicoloured beads for the edge

And here is, a very poor attempt, to take a snap in the dark...
Apologies for the blurring effect... well actually it looks even more spooky!!

Along with my ornament,
I sent a few bits and pieces:

Some Halloween chocolate

Fairy pumpkin lights

and finally some black ribbon, orange lace,
spooky buttons,
light effect DMC E940 glow in the dark thread
and a fabric fat quarter called Spooky Shadows.

Cheryll was thrilled with her gifts and
I certainly had fun preparing this for her

My surprise SpOoKy treats came from france!
Joelle was my surprise partner

I knew I was in for a real treat,
and Joëlle certainly didn't disappoint...

Little packages beautifully wrapped with Autumnal colours.
Look what I found...

The sweetest little pinkeep, with a tiny easel
A lovely design called Halloween from Les Grilles De Maryse

I love the choice of trim, pins and fabric
Such attention to details, everything matches!
Cute pumpkin fabric for the back

I have also received a Halloween chart from Waxing Moon Designs,
a fabric fat quarter,
some wooden decorations,

Fantastic handmade card and Halloween gift tags and
the cutest handmade crochet pumpkins!!

Oooh I just love everything in this parcel,
thank you sooo much for these BOOtiful gifts Joelle

This exchange was a SpOOkTacular success,
thank you Kim for kindly organizing it
